This unit was sealed in the box, which was opened for inspection and photography only, and reboxed. So, it was a ready replacement. But, it was never needed. My personal experience whit these units is that they are highly reliable. I just replaced two of these units myself which was initially installed in 1984. These units lack the sophisticated electronic controls, which can be a Achilles’s heal in newer units. They are also Made in the U. This unit is designed to be used under 460 Volt/3 Phase.
